The Empire Chapter Meet was held , AUGUST 14th & 15th, 2009 at the Madison County Fairgrounds, Brookfield, N.Y.
Friday brought a steady stream of visitors to the fairgrounds. This pleased Empire, who wanted to host an old-fashioned meet which brought friends together in a laid-back atmosphere, and was inexpensive for the members. "Set up wherever you'd like, take as much room as you'd like, You heard right-------no charge for pre-registered venders!!" Smiles, lot's of them!
Saturday we were blessed with great weather for the 10A.M. road run.This made the twenty riders happy. On the way through the back roads of Madison County,we saw windmills, lakes, streams, forests, farmland, and beautiful panoramic views. Everyone enjoyed the mostly traffic-free roads that Curt Bunce had laid out.
Saturday afternoon awards were presented as follows:
PEOPLES CHOICE:

We were very pleased with the variety, and the rarity of bikes brought out.
